We had the good fortune of connecting with Sierra Heuermann and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sierra, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Being kind to others. I wouldn’t be where I am today if didn’t make the connections I made, and I made those connections by being kind, loyal, giving, hard working and honest to myself and who I am.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started photo-doubling in a movie and ended up manifesting getting bumped up to a principal role as the lead antagonist! That’s what started everything and gave me the confidence to accept myself as I am.
It wasn’t easy and I feel like it never is in the entertainment industry, your always dealing with rejection, change, and it can be really hard work.
I think the best thing you can do about those challenges is to consistently let things go, don’t take anything personally, and just ride the wave with grace, and keep doing your best!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First we would go out to brunch! Probably Salazar because I live on the east side and I love that it’s outdoor. I love the outdoors so I would then take them down through topanga canyon go hiking and then hit Malibu for the beach. While in Malibu we would grab food at board street oyster co and do a little shopping!
Then I would take them to down town LA get food at the grand central market, then explore down town, the art district the fashion district etc, then end the day in little Tokyo and have some sushi!
Then I would share my side of town the east side, hike to the Hollywood sign at Griffith, eat at pine and crane or joy and explore silverlake and the boulevard right by my house in Atwater village!
I think Venice beach boardwalk and Santa Monica pier and promenade is also a must!!
The list could go on and on there’s so many fun things to do in LA!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family and friends. ❤️
