We had the good fortune of connecting with Sinclair Hickman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sinclair, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
If your are going to start your own business please make sure you are doing it correctly. Make sure you know about the business you are getting into it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a full time actress in Atlanta, GA. I have been on a few major platforms: Netflix, Tubi, YouTube. I recently started my own film production company and I am in process of building my own Private Independent Film Studio -House Of Bandz Studios. What lead me here to become a Film Studio owner is just faith. Believing in yourself and what you could do can take you a lot of places! My journey was far from easy. It took a lot of self control, mediation, faith, and guidance to get here. A lesson I learned along the way is not everyone is going to believe in you, not everyone deserves to be around you. A lot of people who lack similarities won’t understand you or see the things you go through. It’s okay to move past them. What I want the world to know about my brand is to never be afraid to be you. You can be whatever you want to be.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta has the biggest LGBTQ Events!!! Atlanta club scene in general is a go to. It is always something going on. Any day party is a great way to connect and network.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout to all that has to go through life alone. It may not be easy but it sholl feels great to know that you made it. Through ever obstacle in life, you exceed. My credit and recognition goes to you all. It’s not easy being us.
