We had the good fortune of connecting with Solange Zindzi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Solange, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Everything I have achieved in my life is because I dared myself to take risks. I truly believe that if you want to get anything done during your lifetime on Earth, you have to take risks. Taking risks goes hand in hand with being brave which is why I believe that working on your ‘be-brave-muscle’ is the best gift you can give yourself. Being brave is about daring yourself to get more comfortable in new and unknown situations, to be yourself, and to make the most out of anything and everything. When believing in yourself, no matter the fear you may feel inside of you, you will be able to change your fear into excitement to eventually daring yourself to be brave in life. The braver you are, the more risks you take, the more confident you become and the more you start to believe in yourself while you dare yourself to continue to take risks over and over again.

Feeling brave enough to take risks, has felt so good, has paid off for me and has given me many rewards. Every time I dare, my ‘be-brave-muscle’, grows once again , together with my assurance to believe in myself. Living on the edge, is where you have the best view, and is where interesting things happen. Life has confirmed this to me many times!

Does this mean all my risk taking moments turn out great? NO. But there’s always a lesson which comes along with it which makes the next risk-taking move less scary and makes you better prepared each and every time again.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a child, I was a lil shy – yet loved attention, was highly sensitive and super active. Already, ahead of time, I enjoyed helping others, liked putting smiles on people’s faces and lived for building connections with all sorts of people, races and ages. Over time, I evolved into a courageous and curious woman who is very grounded and straightforward, yet super intuitive and is not afraid of the unknown. I think big, make choices from the heart and am intrinsically driven to make the most of life.

I graduated from Lucia Marthas Institute of Performing Arts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 2011 as a dancer and dance teacher. In addition to obtaining my Bachelor in Dance and Bachelor in Dance Education, I attended a variety of courses around the world to maintain and expand my knowledge and skills, as I believe that investing in yourself is the best and most rewarding gift you can give yourself.

I have danced through life, experiencing different cultures and lifestyles while traveling to more than 50 countries, making my big dreams my reality. It feels amazing, knowing I have manifested my biggest dreams in physical form: from skydiving, to living in New York City, eating real pizza in Italy, being a showgirl in Germany, visiting Thailand, camping in Australia, dancing on cruise ships in the Caribbean, watching sunsets in Hawaii, hiking the Machu Picchu in Peru, moving to Los Angeles, and performing on the biggest stages and in the most incredible theatres and arenas around the world. I really have been manifesting my wildest dreams and experienced life like I was constantly dreaming with my eyes wide open.

Nonetheless, life is full of surprises and detours, and, due to the global pandemic, I lost my dream job (performing as a dancer on a world tour) just like that… I chose to not let myself be victimized by this nightmare, and 10 days later, made the decision to become my own superhero, which eventuated in manifesting a new dream: writing my first book, SOLO JUMP.

Through writing, I found a new way to stay creative while bundling together all my knowledge, wisdom and experiences which I couldn’t wait to share with the world. I strongly believe my own positive outlook on life is the foundation to my glow and could energize and influence many people.

What started off as a journey to discover my own worthiness and desires, transformed into the start of my very own business and now, anybody can benefit from my book, blog, social platforms and coaching courses! All my tips, tricks and tools are coming from experience instead of theory only. Everything I have ever build and created comes straight from my heart and personal experiences which therefore will set me apart as it’s so personal.

Im the most proud of my journey and the fact that I continue to find opportunities all around to continue my growth as a person, in life, and in my business. Most would describe me as an artist, author, speaker, coach, friend, daughter, sister, aunty, grandchild, sunshine-lover or glow-getter. But in reality, I am so much more than that. Society may put us in boxes, but that doesn’t mean we have to stay there. So I hope to continue to live my dreams and live life with true passion and purpose while I expand and continue to upgrade my own “labels’ each and every time.

I truly love the growth I see in others and it makes my heart so happy whenever I see some of my clients growth and life changing dreams come true.

My current dream is to continue to create a conscious and curious like-minded community filled with self-assured, courageous and positive beings who believe in themselves, their dreams and who dare to solo jump through life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take her on some hikes; Runyon Canyon hike, Wisdom tree hike, Griffith Park hike and some of the waterfall hikes.

I, myself, live in The Valley so I would proudly take her around the Valley to then tour through the Hills to show her the best views. (fave Valley Spots: Castaway restaurants, Black Elephant Coffee, Cascabel, Firefly, H.O.P.E, Taisho, Casita, the Fat Dog)

I love rollerblading so most likely I would take her for a rollerblading ride by the coast of Manhattan beach or Venice beach all the way towards Santa Monica – Malibu.

A few fun fair rides at Santa Monica combined with shopping in this area of town.

The Grove always upgrades my mood together with the Farmers Market and I love visiting Glendale Mall too for shopping with of course some Cheesecake factory shenanigans.

I love Salsa dancing so I would have to go to the Sofitel on Wednesday night or on Mondays to El Floridita.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I truly believe you can’t achieve anything alone. Besides life experiences, every single person I’ve crossed path with, and all the books I’ve read…. I would like to shoutout my own book (SOLO JUMP) as within this book, I’ve written out all the experiences and people that have inspired my own journey.

On top of this, I would like to SHOUT OUT my Coach Reese from Yes Supply as she is the reason I’ve added a whole new toolkit to my personal tool kid box which makes it possible for me to now help and coach even more people across the globe, so they can also live the life they dream about.
