We had the good fortune of connecting with Solena de Bueil and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Solena, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m French and I grew up in Paris in an aristocratic family. I am proud of my origins and how rich my culture is. I was raised with a lot of rules and I fought a lot with my familial environment, refusing to be put in a box and fighting to be free to speak.
It has definitely shaped me. It’s not random that I live abroad and have traveled quite a bit around the world. I always had a thirst for different ways of living and wanted to experience it by myself instead of being told what to do. And how to live my life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I don’t feel I have what you can call a career. I have explored multiple areas and never really settle . I love to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone. That said I have been working in event production since 2015. I started to help a friend and really loved the job.
It’s very physical, never at the same place, You need to be pretty versatile and deal with the clients as well as with vendors on site. The events I work on are mostly in the fashion world or private parties.
It’s about creating experiences in beautiful environments.
It taught me how much we need one another.. that everyone has its own expertise and is valuable.
I learned how to be patient and endurant. Days are long in production.
Strangely this world brings a lot of balance in my life.
It grounds me.
Because when I don’t work in event production I offer hands on “healing” sessions where I channel and do energy work for my clients.
This is one of the biggest joy of my life. I forget about everything and become a vessel for Spirit.
I need both of those worlds and I am very proud of the life I created for myself. It allows me to be free and use my time the way I want it.
Sure sometimes it can be a bit financially stressful but overall it is so worth it !

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Echo Park so I would start by walking around my neighborhood that I truly love. Would have lunch at Donna’s ( if I can get a reservation 😅) and have a drink at Bar Flores. Don’t ask me to do tourist stuff I hate it.. so I would take her to my favorites little spots in highland park ( have a drink at Gold Line) have lunch in Atwater at Dune.
Take a swim at Secret beach on the PCH in Malibu
Grab a burger at Burgers Never Say Die ( best fries ever)
I would take her to hike in Topanga at the red rock canyon state park. If you climb through a big rock you end up on top of the mountain with a killer view !
But my absolute favorite would be to take her to Ojai. Lunch at Rory’s (best restaurant in LA area) then hike in Matilija Canyon all the way to the waterfall so we can bathe naked in the stream away for the world.
Would spend the night at Ojai Rancho inn and have dinner at Ojai noodle house.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
2 persons made a big difference in my life when I allowed myself to listen to my calling. Cya Batten and Mary Grisey. Both became my friends.
Cya helped me unleash and acknowledge the part of me that was dying to be heard. Via an incredible healing session in 2018
Mary was my mentor (and in a way still is). She has helped me figure out what was emerging . She also trained me to structure and explore my main Clair. Clairvoyance.
I am extremely grateful to have those powerful and talented women in my life.
