We had the good fortune of connecting with Spencer Galbreath and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Spencer, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I believe risk taking is an important factor and any movement in your career, because you can’t be scared to pivot or grow, and it comes down to believing in yourself, and taking that risk to do whatever it is that you’re doing to prevail and succeed. That’s exactly why I named one of my companies dreamers, risk-takers & innovators. Which is short for DRI, Without a dream and without a risk, you would not innovate.
What should our readers know about your business?
My business is the marketing advertising space. Where I deal with an array of clients helping them come up with cool ideas, co-branding engagement , sponsorship opportunities, influencer programs , digital marketing , Go to market roll out you name it companies trust me to help guide them to a successful ROI. I get excited with the idea of taking something from nothing and bring it to the light of day. at the end of day it’s all about what is going to be relatable affordable to the consumer. And bring a little cool factor as well. I got to where I’m at today by staying focused determine and always learning no matter what. Being a student of the game and whatever game is that you’re playing always learn from it.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my favorite spots in the city would be the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills. It’s one of my go to places for meetings, sit on the roof, get a deal done all while overlook into the city with the vision of unlimited opportunities. Another go to spot would be a private membership club called the soho house . I’m all about connecting the dots with the right people and sometimes it’s all about the environment and the company you keep.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely a lot of my accomplishments come from my upbringing by my parents, and I was blessed to have my mom and dad install a work ethic in me at a young age and it carried over into my adulthood. And as I grew up and got into the creative sector for my career, you meet mentors that guide you along the way and give you certain gems as far as books to read things to do and not to do in order to become successful. The Genesis prayer by Jeffrey Meiliken , The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel I would definitely recommend to those out their looking to gain more knowledge for their perspective craft.
