We had the good fortune of connecting with Eliot Houman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eliot, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Our thought process behind starting The Accident Guys was simple: change the way people think about personal injury lawyers. My law partner, Omid Dayan, and I wanted to create a law firm where the clients were the main event. From the technology we use, to our legal strategies, to providing each client with that important human touch – everything The Accident Guys law firm does is centered around providing the best possible results and service for our clients. We take client feedback very seriously and are always looking for ways to enhance their experience. We stand by the motto that while we may have thousands of cases, each client only has one.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
It’s really about helping out people at a really vulnerable time in their lives. That’s why we started The Accident Guys, and now we’ve helped tens of thousands of people get their lives back on track after a car accident or work injury. In addition, we’ve set up a non-profit to help victims of car accidents who might otherwise be left behind – The Accident Guys Victims’ Fund.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shoutout to my law partner, Omid Dayan. Together we have been able to create a law firm that is truly client-centered. Everything we do, we think about how it can benefit our clients, how it impacts them, and what is best for them. Omid and I have had each other back since day one and we wouldn’t have been able to get to where we area without sharing that same vision.
