We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeff and Lucas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeff and Lucas, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We knew that having the freedom to work on our films while earning money with our own video production company is key. The start was tough, discouraging however we kept pushing seeing the possibility year after year. I think most folks want the now result when in reality any business takes time to build.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Back in 2013 we started making short films on YouTube with a crappy camera and mic. It didn’t stop us after producing 150 short films. We needed to keep our income going. We had two different jobs but the hours we’re eating our time away from our passion projects. The idea of having our own production company came about. By that point we had better equipment and skills to make great videos. Once we started it was a slow process but consistent income was happening. In 2020 with the pandemic shutting down our video business temporarily we decided to make the short we were working on. It nearly killed us with all the work and sleepless nights and having multiple Dp’s drop out at the last minute. We had everything else the talent, locations and support from our loved ones and knew we couldn’t back down. 2022 our business was back on track and working on our first feature film while host a weekly podcast. We are still going. What sets you apart from the rest is making your dream a reality no matter the circumstances. The circumstances takes you to your true destiny. Don’t ever give up on your dreams.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So since it’s LA, definitely would take them to cafe los feliz for some breakfast burritos then hit up Griffith park for some trail action and then end the day on the beach eating some poke enjoying the sunset.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s to many people that inspired us to keep going. A few of them are Tony Robbins, Eckhart Tolle and Gary Vee. They all shared one similar belief which is my quote “Comfort is death and pain is success” A lot of times we always want that quick solution in life. It’s about enjoying the journey for what it is. A great way of seeing it is “Problems aren’t stop signs there guidelines”. It’s easy to be happy during the come up but when things are tough those are the best days that allow us to be better and show what we’re meant to become❤️
