We had the good fortune of connecting with Starr Alexandria and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Starr, how do you think about risk?
In my opinion, taking risks is sometimes necessary because if we’re not stepping outside our comfort zone or taking a chance on ourselves are we truly giving ourselves an opportunity to live our fullest potential? I’ve taken pretty big risks in both my career and life and am so grateful for it. Most recently I quit my side hustle to commit to my business full time, and that was a risk worth taking for sure.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m in the space of online health coaching, which creating a business on its own is very tough, but especially in a saturated industry such as this one, we really have to figure out what separates us from everyone else. Personally, I specifically coach women who work high demanding jobs. So my mission is to help them reach their body goals in a sustainable way that is time efficient for their individual lifestyle. I am always so excited to see how their fitness changes their lives as well – such as with relationships or getting promotions. The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way with my business and fitness is that it always starts with prioritizing me first so that I can be a better wife, friend, and coach to others and this is the mindset I teach my clients as well.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in a smaller town in Southern California so we usually drive to LA or OC when we are going out for the best time. Santa Monica Promenade and Orange County both have so much food, so many shops, concerts! Either direction you go around here there will be always be something fun to do.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to dedicate this shoutout to one of my most recent mentors Kelsie Langohr. She has helped me gain even more confidence in what I do as a fitness coach and goes above and beyond to support everyone in her community.
