We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephen Evans and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephen, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. I just wanted to do something different & I had no clue where to start. All I knew was that I had to figure out a way to increase my income and find more time I can spend with my son. That’s when gaming headsets came to my mind.

What should our readers know about your business?
WeTheHype is a gaming headsets company that works for all consoles including PC, Phones and tablets. We have Wired and Bluetooth headsets available. That sets apart from other gaming headsets company ours are universal. I am most proud/excited about is going live with QVC that was super cool, also we’re getting ready to go live with Target. So you’ll be able to find our product on both QVC & Targets website. I think just being consistent and discipline, this is what it takes to keep your business from failing. Running a business is not easy, I always tell myself you’ll work a double shift for other companies why wouldn’t I do it for my own business. You are a one man army when you first start so that mean your doing emails, marketing, shipping, posting content etc. It’s about taking risk and like they say without risk there’s no reward. The lesson I learned is stay consistent t and discipline also don’t get high off your high and low off your lows. All businesses have good and bad months, it’s just apart of business. I want the world to know that WeTheHype is one of the best gaming headsets company out and also you can do anything in this world if you bet on yourself. Don’t be afraid to take risk in life. Also speak positive energy into your life and just believe in yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit I would take them to the beach because you know that’s a vibe. We would hit the gym, play some ball. I’m vegan so we would have to hit up some vegan spot, viva vegan is so good we would have to go there. Probably hit up a couple of malls so either a mall in the IE or LA. Probably go to top golf for some food. So my new thing now is I like to go hiking, so we’ll do that as well.
