We had the good fortune of connecting with stephen kalinich and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi stephen, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by Art stillness and poetry.I enjoy helping others.and also helping myself.I like to be grounded in reality but sometimes i take a challenge and seek the unknown.I try to be a blessing to others with my art.Originally it was about me but through my Art i have learned to want to do good in the world and live my highest feelings
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I learned to be patient and be still. To not rush into something without really examining it . To be thoughtful and careful before making a decision.
This poem i wrote illustrates my philosophy .
THE DAYS OF LIFE
The days of life
so quickly pass
through muted time and endless space
Through gentle joy
and bitter pain.
Silently they slip away .
Each step we walk
each breath we take.
We can live love
We can bring peace
We can be kind .
Th e little thing we do each day to help someone
can mean so much.
Can save a life .
So each night
Before we go to sleep.
Think of the feelings we can share
the lives we can touch with hope
The words of tenderness
that we can speak
to one in need.
Think of the good that we can do
through the days of life
