Meet Steve Haddadin | Real Estate Broker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Steve Haddadin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Steve, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I am heavily involved with my alma mater, California State University, Fullerton by serving on the board of the Center for Real Estate. My role on the board is to ensure our courses adhere to the state regulator’s requirements for licensure and to our industry partners’ standards such as the CCIM® Institute. In addition, I plan and organized the annual ICSC Las Vegas conference attendance that I started back when I was a student. Students receive financial support from my endowment fund to cover travel costs. This trip gives students exposure to the world of retail real estate as well as access to job opportunities and networking opportunities.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a real estate broker and investor in Orange County and Riverside County. I run a full-service brokerage out of Brea, CA. My brokerage does commercial and residential sales, better known as Resimercial. We also provide consulting for clients. Currently, I am invested in Riverside County, and I am working on some retail center developments.
What sets us apart is that we are a small team, and we all work together closely on our transactions. This offers our clients a streamlined and hands on experience. In addition, I have several certifications and designations that has broadened my knowledge and resources that helps me provide the highest quality of services possible.
I am committed to providing high quality services, in fact I have made a vow to all my clients that I would. I am consistently educating myself. I just graduated from Capital University Law School; the commencement was on May 19th, 2024. This separates me from other real estate brokers because I have a legal background that I bring to the table not only for my clients but also to the team at King Real Estate Group.
What got me to where you are today professionally is from giving back and educating myself. Obtaining all my certifications and designations gave me industry specific knowledge that helped me thrive as a real estate professional. Being a Broker, the development of my leadership skills stems from my role as the President of the Real Estate Association at California State University Fullerton, being faced with a student organization that was floundering. From there, I went onto being appointed to the board of the real estate program. I learned many lessons on presenting new ideas, vision, and gaining the support and backing of a group while there are people that are not fully on board with your idea. It was not easy, but it was not super difficult. The way I overcame the challenges was through my support system, close friends, and family. Piggybacking strategies and testing them out.
What I want the world to know about my brand and my story is very simple. My story stems from being placed in various leadership roles without any leadership experience and having to grow to fit into these roles in a short period of time. In addition, gaining knowledge and experience from the certifications and designations that I obtained and successful people that I met along the way. Mu brand centers around my breadth of knowledge. Our slogan is that we are a “Full-Service Real Estate Company”. This is due to the diverse base of knowledge and experience that I bring to the table. It is a branding strategy I use.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For a week-long trip in my area, Orange County, I would plan it around: Pacific Coast Highway, Irvine, Newport Beach, and Anaheim. I would briefly show the area surrounding where I live and work only because those areas are more of nice places to live in and less touristy spots.
We would start off in Laguna Beach and make our way to the Irvine Spectrum where I will show my friend some of my favorite restaurants in the area, such as Tempo Cantina, Mastro’s, Sister Sicily, and if my friend is one of my friends that are not from the West Coast, In-N-Out. I would then make my way through Anaheim and possibly show my friend Disneyland, if that is of interest. In my area, I would show my friend the schools I went to and the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. With all that, I truly believe that there is no place like Orange County. The weather is great, there are great places to visit, and it is quieter than Los Angeles County with all the amenities and places that you need.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are several people along my journey that I can attribute the success that I have. From my journey, I have learned that nobody is truly self-made. I achieved my success and filled in leadership roles from a very young age. I look back at the mentorship of my professor Panos Skordi, former director Robert Osbrink, the guidance and support of my parents, and my brother during my journey. They all played a crucial role in my development. No one has all the answers, but through connecting with others and exchanging values and skills, you can truly develop your skills.
