We had the good fortune of connecting with Steven Rogers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Steven, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
To be honest, I didn’t see it as starting my own business. I just wanted to be a comedian so badly. Then when I started getting good and being booked more and more I realized it was a possibility, so really my thought process was really just chasing doing my favorite thing all the time and figuring out the rest later. Thank god it worked!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others: I’d say what sets me apart from others is just the fact that I’m being as much as myself on stage as possible, I’m still learning who that is, but that’s what’s fun about stand up and life, I’m still learning who I am and how to be funny using whatever makes me who I am.

what you are most proud of or excited about.:
I’m excited about touring a lot in 2024 to record another special/album at the Comedy Fort in the October. It’s really fun trying to get these jokes I’ve been telling ready for something that I can share with people that like my stuff and people that have yet to find it.

How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy?: It wasn’t easy, but it’s really been fun. It’s very hard and there are of course many times I feel doubtful and insecure, but most of the time I try to remember to be grateful and enjoy everything that I’m lucky enough to do in this business!

If not, how did you overcome the challenges? By having great friends, family, and the stubbornness of someone that is Irish and Italian.

What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way.: It’s great to work hard on your art and even obsess over it at times, but the most important thing is to live your life. I’m a very lucky guy with many great people that make my life wonderful and I have to remember to enjoy and appreciate them and experience the world around me. It’ll feed creativity, but mostly it’s just great.

What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story? I’m funny and you should come see me live!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A lot of shout outs are needed and I’m sorry if forget names, but Caitlin Peluffo, my Mom and Dad, Nick Marra, Rob Little, Joe List, Brian Regan, Tom Papa, Nate Bargatze, and anyone whose booked me or gave me any help at all!
