We had the good fortune of connecting with Suejung Huh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Suejung, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Pursuing my own path has always been my dream. Having worked in companies across South Korea and the US, I often found myself at odds with the direction of the projects I was involved in. I’ve consistently yearned to follow my own instincts and pursue what I believe to be the right course.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What I appreciate about Camille World, our service, is its dual benefit to artists and galleries. For artists, it offers a platform to host their own exhibitions and showcase their artwork. For galleries, it facilitates the display of curated artworks to a global audience, transcending the usual temporal and spatial limitations of traditional art fairs. This means galleries can extend their exhibitions’ reach and accessibility significantly.

Moreover, Camille World is compatible across all platforms, including mobile, desktop, and VR. Artists and galleries can be free from technical burdens as we handle all the complex aspects. Once an exhibition is registered, it seamlessly operates across all platforms, which is a feature I particularly love.

Additionally, we offer an AI docent service for any exhibition. For an exhibition to be AI docent ready, each artwork must be accompanied by detailed explanations. This service is multi-lingual, currently available in English, Korean, and Japanese, with plans to include more languages. This ensures that the exhibitions are accessible and informative for a diverse, global audience.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
After a stressful day, to quickly unwind, I often head to the Rose Bowl to stroll around the entire stadium. By the end, I’m either in a state of calm or pleasantly exhausted, ensuring a good night’s sleep. For a two-day getaway, my go-to destination is Dana Point, boasting an array of delightful eateries and scenic strolling spots. And if I can extend the relaxation to a week, I prefer visiting Montecito. Its ubiquitous beauty and abundance of fine dining options make it an ideal retreat for rejuvenation.
