Meet Sunny Dilinger | Music & Calligraphy Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sunny Dilinger and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sunny, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Art/ music have always been apart of my life ever since I was young. I feel like it was meant for me to be an artist. The more I create the more I learn.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I always find it funny to talk about myself, but I’m an artist. I create music I write lyrics I do calligraphy and yeah that’s what I do as of now. what I am most proud of is how far I’ve come with my art. From being homeless not knowing what to do or where to go to being able to travel and share my art with people all around the world. It’s been challenging for sure. I’m still learning how to navigate and balance it all but one thing I’ve learned is to never give up. No matter what.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m not going to lie.. I’m boring. I like to stay home. I don’t go out so much. I will literally go pick up food and go back home. So I don’t have much recommendations honestly. I love Tocaya in Santa Monica I have my own burrito there. Do yourself a favor go there and ask for the Sunny burrito. I love the west side of Los Angeles. The community in Venice/Santa Monica are cool peeps.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give my love and gratitude to life. For the miraculous ways of how life works. Thank you to all of you.
