We had the good fortune of connecting with Susi Cabello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Susi, how do you think about risk?
When it comes to risk-taking, I have a clear philosophy: it’s the lifeblood of progress. Taking risks has been the driving force in my life and career.

Mistakes and failures? They’re not something to fear; they’re opportunities to learn and grow. I’ve learned to be friends with failure because it’s in those moments that we gain invaluable insights, embrace failure, befriend it, and use it as a stepping stone. Remember, in the game of life and entrepreneurship, if you don’t risk it, you can’t win it.

I think taking risks is the key to making bold moves and achieving success. Remember, if you never take risks, you’ll never unlock your full potential. Risk-taking is the doorway to winning big in life and business.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is the art of transformation and empowerment, brought to life through Decretum Podcast. A Meditation and Self-Growth Podcast. What sets me apart is my deep passion for personal growth and my mission to show people that they have the power to manifest their dreams.

My journey to where I am today professionally has been a thrilling adventure. It wasn’t always easy, but it was incredibly rewarding. I’ve always been fascinated by the world of business and the limitless potential of the human mind. This fascination led me to create Decretum Podcast, where I can share my knowledge and passion with a like-minded community.

The challenges along the way have been numerous, but they’ve been stepping stones to growth. I’ve learned that perseverance and a burning desire to make a positive impact are the driving forces that help us overcome obstacles. It’s not about avoiding challenges but embracing them as opportunities to evolve.

What I want the world to know about Decretum Podcast is that it’s a haven for those seeking inspiration, guidance, and transformation. It’s a place where we explore the incredible power within us and harness it to manifest our dreams. Through the podcast, I aim to empower individuals to connect with their inner strength and create the lives they truly desire. It’s a journey I’m honored to share, and I’m deeply grateful to be a part of each listener’s personal quest for self-realization.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d make sure to show them the city’s diverse blend of spiritual and relaxing spots. We’d start with a visit to the serene Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades, a place of tranquility and meditation. For breathtaking views, we’d then head to Malibu Farm Pier Cafe, which offers a stunning panorama of the ocean.

Another day, we’d greet the sunrise with a hike at Runyon Canyon, where the vistas of the city are awe-inspiring. In the afternoon, we’d explore the Getty Center, appreciating both art and the peaceful surroundings with views of the city.

Our adventure would also take us to my favorite beach, Hermosa Beach, where we could unwind by the sea.

We’d also have a delightful time at a dog park, my favorite is Whitnall Dog Park in North Hollywood, where we’d revel in the joy of furry friends and nature. And before we bid farewell to this fantastic week, we’d spend a morning at Lake Balboa Park in the San Fernando Valley, a tranquil oasis amidst the city’s bustle. The serene surroundings would provide the perfect backdrop for reflection and relaxation.

To add to our cultural exploration, we’d visit The Groves Farmers Market to experience the local flavors and vibrant atmosphere. And we’d explore the rich history and lush botanical gardens at the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in Pasadena, a true gem that combines art, culture, and natural beauty.

Ultimately, my goal would be to combine relaxation, cultural exploration, and spiritual growth while taking in the stunning views, peaceful parks, and vibrant markets that Los Angeles has to offer, creating a memorable and enriching experience for my friend in the City of Angels.
