We had the good fortune of connecting with Symone Ranaye and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Symone, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Journee Beeauty was designed for all beauty lovers to feel beautiful and use their imagination to express themselves. I decided to create a brand that would represent me and attract new faces. Every decision made (from the logo design to the name of each product down to the packaging of our products) is based on my personal experiences and unique style.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Journee Beeauty is a creative within itself. Our brand strives on freedom of expression with the use of imagination of course. We believe our brand is unique because of our unique nature beginning with how we spell our name and the symbolism of a bumble bee in our logo.

We’re proud of our journey overall. Being in business three years now and attracting new faces has been such a blessing for us. The feedback we’ve received and the inquiries to join our community is even more of an achievement because for us, Journee Beeauty began with just one person doing creative looks and now we have a ton of other creators collaborating with us.

To say it’s been an easy journey would be completely false; however we have grown immensely since the beginning. Scheduling is key and having a reliable team is more important than ever because things definitely become overwhelming.

Here at Journee Beeauty, we want everyone to know it’s important to express themselves and remember that whatever you don’t like, you have the power to change it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Growing up in Los Angeles, there are so many great places to choose from which always makes it hard to choose. The best place to visit is the beach especially at night. The beach is very relaxing and the sound of the waves just brings a different feeling of peace to your life.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I really want to dedicate this shoutout to God and all my Beeauty Babes. Without God, none of this would ever be possible. Beeauty Babes, you all deserve your flowers and love for how hard you go for Journee Beeauty. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and know this year is our year.
