We had the good fortune of connecting with Chloe Sapienza and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chloe, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Creativity is deeply woven into the fabric of my being. Growing up in a family of artists exposed me to many forms of creative expression at a young age. Design took hold as a way to merge my arts background and my propensity for mathematics and invention. When I’m creatively solving problems, I’m the truest version of myself. It’s something that I love innately, have spent my life honing, and it brings me true joy. My hope is that this translates not only to my business but to all facets of my life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I grew up in Los Angeles, but leaving and coming back as an adult has allowed me to see the city in an entirely new light. Having only lived here for two years, one of which was entirely shadowed by the pandemic, my list, for now, is short. Taking walks through the hillside neighborhoods is amazing. I love the variety of architecture here. I think picnicking on the side of the road anywhere you can find a view and turnout spot to set up is magical. Taking drives to the beach on Sunset Blvd allows for classic LA scenery. The coast up by Malibu is striking. The hiking in Topanga Canyon is a must. Food-wise, LA has great vegan restaurants like Crossroads and Gracias Madre. One of my favorite restaurants in LA is Pace, tucked up in Laurel Canyon with amazing pizza and a cozy historical location.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My ability to find confidence in starting my own creative business has everything to do with my work experiences and the mentorship I received from my many incredible former bosses, who all, either by coincidence or some unconscious thread, owned their own businesses in creative design fields. I learned so much from working directly for business owners for ten years, and I would recommend this to anyone hoping to start a business in any creative field.
