We had the good fortune of connecting with Tara Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tara, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I wanted to name my company a name resonate with freedom, flexibility and femininity for women. This is where Femeflex was created and formed. My creative logo was created with femininity in mind, this is why the pink “F” in the logo will be the single stamp that will set Femeflex apart from all other feminine hygiene products.

I wanted my innovative product to be stand out and to be different because Femeflex is the world’s first pantiless liner and Femeflex wanted to make a statement in the market.

Femeflex was with a name in mind that resonates to women and stand out in the feminine hygiene industry.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Femeflex Pantiless Liners was created from my own personal story. I am most proud that I took an idea, created it and designed it from scratch; then took it to market.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend to all the hot spots in LA. I am not a social butterfly however; I like to eat well and shop mostly. I would take any visitor to attractions such as the Getty Center, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.

I would also take them to the Grove and the Americana; which are great hanging and shopping locations.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I honestly want to say thank you to Sara Blakely, she is founder of Spanx. I also follow her on Instagram and she is such an inspiration for other women entrepreneurs. She gives other business owners hope that persistent and believing in yourself, you can achieve greatness. I resonate to her story because she is the founder of Spanx and created the first shape-wear on the market that is very popular to this day. I relate to her story as she often tells her story with tears in eyes on her journey and how a lot of manufactures told her no. She didn’t give up and neither did I when it took me three years to find a manufacturing company to take on such an innovative product and introduce it to the world.
