We had the good fortune of connecting with Tasha Butcher and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tasha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process about starting my business was always wanting to be stylish on a budget. The world has changed in many ways for a lot of us and most of the time we as women/moms tend to put ourselves last. I know first hand how it feels to see a cute dress but can’t get it because it cost too much. The struggle of paying bills and taking care of home is all too familiar with the times we live in today. I wanted to create a store where it would still be in budget to buy something nice for yourself.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m here today because giving up has never been a choice. I’m a strong believer that when one door closes another one opens. This journey hasn’t been easy by a long shot but I am grateful for the bumps in the road as they have given me the best lessons along the way. Each time I start a project, I learn something new even though the project failed. I’ve become stronger mentally and more careful with my decisions. I’ve come a long way and this is only the beginning, I’ve been on the bottom before and there’s only one direction to go in from there. “No one can stop me, I’m all the way up” -DJ Kaled

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a friend visiting we would for sure hit up a nice Sunday brunch, a place with bottomless mimosas. Me and my girls Love a good mimosa. lol… I’d also go to a comedy club during the week. Now when the weekend hit, oh it’s time to hang. lol.. We’re for sure going to a nice bar and/or night club, I would really have to show her a great time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’ve always been told I dress really nice but never thought to go into the fashion business. I’ve tried to start many businesses and none of them panned out for me. One day a very good friend of mine just said “look you need to do something with clothes. Every time you step out you look good, that’s your lane, it’s too easy for you” That conversation stuck with me. I began to think on it more and more and finally decided to take that leap. Best decision ever!
