We had the good fortune of connecting with Tasha-Nicole Terani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tasha-Nicole, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
For me, success is defined by a few things happening in synchronicity.
Doing what you love and being able to pursue your inner passions. Paying the bills comfortably with extra money to enjoy or invest. Helping others while still mentally and spiritually evolving within yourself. And lastly, being able to share all of this with the people you love!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I run two global companies. TNT Soccer System LLC. and the Every Child’s Dream Foundation 501c3 for orphaned and abandoned babies and children. I model on the side and I also enjoy writing. Both companies are in a milestone year! TNT Soccer System is now a world renowned training program used by individuals and teams worldwide. TNT Soccer products are created with the mindset of building confidence. Not just confidence in soccer, confidence for life.
As of 2023, The Every Child’s Dream Foundation has delivered specialty care packages to 98 countries and every state in the U.S.
We focus on babies, children and families in need. Catering to orphanages, hospitals, shelters, foster care agencies, law enforcement and disaster relief efforts worldwide.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Santa Monica Beach is one of my favorite spots. It’s beautiful and it holds so many memories for me of a time before I figured it all out, so to speak! When I drive through Santa Monica I can look back at the places I once lived and remember jobs I once had.
At that time in my life I was a swimsuit model.
I remember the freezing cold modeling shoots and the ice cold ocean water. Yikes! I can’t say that I miss it. What I do miss is the fresh Santa Monica air and the endless food spots!
You will definitely get your fair share of interesting people in Santa Monica! I had so many great friends back then, some tycoons, some homeless. Some models and some artists! It was a wild ride that is for sure. Every day was a new adventure.
It was my discovery decade.
I like to call it my roaring 20’s! That decade of utter randomness in my life. When you will go anywhere and everywhere looking to be inspired. Looking and dreaming of the possibilities and opportunities life has to offer.
It’s the environment that taught me anything is possible. The catch is, it doesn’t fall into your lap. You actually have to get out there and work hard for it. If you can focus this hard work on the right things and pursuits, you will see results.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My adoptive father Nick would be the first and foremost influential person of my life. He taught me that the most important thing in life is kindness. Not only kindness to others, kindness to yourself. He didn’t just preach this, he lived it. He was magnificent to watch. He could turn someone’s day around with a look, a word, or a smile. He guided me through the ups and downs of my childhood. Teaching me that when all else fails, follow your heart. He said, “You can’t go wrong if you’re kind to others and you follow your heart.”
He was the first person to ever believe in me. Without him, I would have never had the courage and the confidence I have today. He always said, “If you have a gift you must share it with others. To withhold your gifts is a selfish act.”
Something about him, his energy and his joy, just to be alive. Contagious to say the least!
My friends used to ask for my father to pick us up from soccer practice. They would ask to come to my house, just so the could ask my father for advice. He was my gift and I was happy to share his kindness and wisdom with all my friends.
As my friends would leave my house they’d say, “I wish I had a father like yours.”
All that I understand about how to love and be loved is because of him. His voice and his guidance is with me every single day. I feel pride in remembering this, harnessing it and sharing his wisdom. Not a day goes by where is influence isn’t greatly felt in my life.
