We had the good fortune of connecting with Tasha Reign and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tasha, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I like to take big risks, because I believe big risks = big rewards. I come from a mindset of abundance. The better it gets, the better it gets. The higher the risk, potentially the better the outcome.

I have taken risks in my career such as joining the entertainment industry in the first place. That risk has paid off for me. I’m grateful for that. I know I’m privileged. But, I also know that no matter what I do, I’ll be good at it. And most importantly, I trust in God’s plan.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a creative. I love art. I enjoy producing. I like entertaining and creating. My journey in entertainment has lead me to my latest endeavor of becoming an “author”! I’m beyond excited about this new chapter in my life. How lucky I am to be able to write about life and my experiences.

I’m most proud that I’ve been able to speak out about the adult industry while simultaneously, being in the adult industry.

Professionally I’ve always been very lucky, I have the ability to manage many things at once.

I’ve overcome many challenges in my young life, my most recent one, the death of my mother has been very challenging,

Feminism and a deep rooted love for women is a place I always come from and something I aim to express throughout all my work.

I’m transitioning into a home and fashion brand now. Fairytale Cottage Topanga has always been a dream of mine. The brick and mortar opens mid November in downtown Topanga Canyon! I’ll be selling women’s clothing, baby clothing and home decor. I’m beyond excited to bring this vision to life. It’s influenced heavily by my late mother, an interior designer and by the charm of the Santa Monica mountains it’s surrounded by. Pastel colors, flowers and a hyper feminine vibe embody the brand. Follow our instagram @fairytalecottagetopanga

It all started with a passion for dreamy shabby chic interiors. I turned my cottage into an air bnb which was booked often and really enjoyed by so many people. Then I realized I wanted to sell the things in the cottage that made it so special. That’s where the idea of a store came in. I’ve never been in this type of business before so I’m nervous. But I’ve also never been so excited about a project!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh this is a fun question! First off, a stay at “The Proper” hotel is a must. Then I would go straight to Boa Steakhouse in Santa Monica! From there we would go to Malibu and take a walk along the beach to watch the sunset. Some cocktails at “Malibu Cafe” on the pier and of course shopping the next day at my new store “Fairytale Cottage Topanga”!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I always hear that “It takes a village”. But honestly, I think it just takes one person to believe in you. I was getting my graduate degree at Annenberg USC in specialized journalism. My thesis chair, Richard Reeves, a well known author of history, once pulled me aside after class. He said, “Rachel you’re not a journalist, you’re a writer.” It really stuck with me..

This belief in my abilities gave me support that I needed to believe that I could be an author. And now, I’m an author. As the established writer that he was, it gave me the support I needed to pursue writing my memoir.

My late father was an entrepreneur and I always watched him working hard. That work ethic has paved the way for my success as a business owner. He always looked like he was having fun while hustling, so I make that a priority as well.
