We had the good fortune of connecting with Taz Forte and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taz, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Im from Atlanta my up bringing affected me by growing up in the hoods low poverty area it taught me survival instead of growing up with rich parents. It also taught me to never quit grinding no matter what because you never know when its your turn to shine and just keep pushing when everything not going right.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Ill say what set me apart is my image i don’t look like your typical skinny rapper with chains i work out a lot so when you see me you might think im a football player or some but that’s not the case i just enjoy keeping my body fit. Im excited about how much music I create and how I come up with great songs that’s consistent, I surprise myself of the things that’s in my head like it come from god. When im in the studio it’s like i can make a song off of anybody you throw on with something I can’t explain it. I took a lot of sacrifice I moved from Atlanta to Texas with no family only person i knew was my baby mama and my kid at the time it was so many days of depression what made me motivated I used to picture my lil girl in a mansion smiling. That what made me get on my grind in Texas and put myself out there i used to drive for Uber every time someone got in my car i played my song and they loved it. I used to drive 20 people a day from the airport for 4 years. Everyone loves my song and followed me on Instagram that how i organic build my fan base and still until this day they support me.It wasn’t easy because i had to find a creative way with every person to get them to listen to my song because everybody doesn’t like the same music. The lesson i learned along the way is find a motivation and a purpose and keep pushing cause if i quit that day i wouldn’t be where I am today if i quit. I just want people to know about me and my brand is I am a constant individual if you support me i will give you my All I Have dope music i try to touch on everything in life so you will connect to a song and fall in love or put it on your favorite playlist.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I will go to a cabin in the mountains, order some champagne or hard liquor or whatever you drink or we could go to Miami by the ocean and have whatever goes on down there or we could go out the country to Amsterdam italy or Belgium and have the time of our life.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I I want to shout out my family in Atlanta, that’s all the people I consider my brothers and everybody who know me from zone 1-6
