We had the good fortune of connecting with TeAra DeBerry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi TeAra, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My journey began at the tender age of 14 when I fell in love with all things beauty. Growing up, my mom wasn’t always available to do my hair or ensure I was “bully-proof.” I faced a lot of bullying in school for not having the things other kids had. This fueled my determination to be successful when I grew up. Today, I’m proud to say that I’ve exceeded that goal, and life is truly good.
What should our readers know about your business?
At Nailtique Inc., our mission is to redefine the beauty experience by combining artistry, innovation, and exceptional customer service. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to quality and our personalized approach to each client’s needs. We pride ourselves on staying ahead of industry trends and continuously educating our team to ensure we offer the latest techniques and products.
Getting to where we are today has been a journey filled with both triumphs and challenges. It wasn’t easy. We faced numerous obstacles, from finding the right team to establishing our brand in a competitive market. However, we overcame these challenges by staying true to our vision and being adaptable. We listened to our clients’ feedback, refined our services, and built a strong community around our brand.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way is the importance of resilience and perseverance. Success doesn’t happen overnight; it requires dedication and a willingness to evolve. Another key lesson is the value of fostering genuine connections with our clients. Their trust and loyalty are the foundation of our success.
I want the world to know that Nailtique Inc. is more than just a beauty business; it’s a story of passion, resilience, and innovation. Our brand represents the culmination of years of hard work and a relentless pursuit of excellence. We are excited about the future and look forward to continuing to inspire and empower our clients through beauty.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shout out and big up my husband who has always been there to support any and all avenues of my extensive entrepreneurial journey. He has not complained, or became disinterested, or rebuttaled any idea or plan presented to him. He is more than my support system. He is my everything! Thank you husband!
