We had the good fortune of connecting with TILLI and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TILLI, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued an artistic and creative career as that is what comes through me with the most joy and persistence. And I thought it would have the most freedom ! Another artist friend of mine said, but with freedom can come loneliness and that is also true. There are many times when it seems it would be easier to choose a more regulated job and career description. Upon looking at it all… I see friends, who are in the corporate world, which is much more structured and steady on …and I see that is also. not an easy path ! So basically, one must pursue what moves oneself most deeply and then deal with how to manifest it… How to let more and more of it come through you in a fulfilling way! For me, it seems to be about staying inspired while balancing and keep it all moving forward. You really can’t judge it too much because it can look like an awkward dance at times ha ha

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Really I live in the world of crafting vibrations .Writing things that move me Singing them and setting them to music with the desire to understand myself better, and communicate with others. So ! I am working on mastering the art and craft of relating and I do that through my music and lyrics and presence . You have to find a way to Love It All to have a good ride here on Earth .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Los Angeles is a great city sprawling out into so many different environments! I always take people to the beach and into the Canyons to hike and feel the nature here …which is an incredible event in such a large city. There is of course Hollywood Boulevard and the movie palaces… Let’s face it. Hooray for Hollywood! There are many wonderful restaurants here but I really like Mexican food and the occasional taco truck… It’s so fun and of course there is a lot of live music in this town of which I am a part of So there’ are plenty of places to go for that . If there’s enough time I take them out to the desert to experience that culture and its music and vibe .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Probably it would be those teenage boys I heard playing live Rocknroll in their living room with the front door open . I was about 5 or 6 years old and I followed the sound til I found the house and walked in and sat in on their rehearsal hahaha . It was thrilling
