We had the good fortune of connecting with Timea Laczko and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Timea, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
I graduated from college in May 2023, and ever since i have been struggling to find the right work life balance. Being an international in America, trying to “make it” in the acting industry is tough. Lately I found myself questioning a lot of life decisions that I made, and work has become my number one priority, with little to no time for my outside of work life. So, I am still looking for the right balance; unwinding and letting go of my outside of career problems and worries when I am at home is still challenging, I am still learning how to make my own schedule, not that it is not set in stone anymore by anyone else.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a new and upcoming actress and model in LA. As of right now, I am barely getting started, making my own Hollywood connections and trying to make the best out of my craft. A few years ago I had a clear vision of where I wanted to be and go, but life’s taught me that planning isn’t as important as what one moment can bring you. Through my acting career I aspire to inspire new generations to believe in themselves, and if they have the right support by their side they can achieve anything. Only with hard work, dedication, and a little bit of luck.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
LA is so big and broad, there’s so many places to see and enjoy. I would probably start with a drive around LA, showing them well known spots like the walk of fame, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Orange County. I love Orange County. As for food, I would take them to the farmer’s markets around, the taco trucks are a local favorite. Clubs and speakeasies in LA really encompass the vibe of the city, and you never know who you are going to meet; if it is running into a celebrity or your next acting contract.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe everything I have achieved so far to my supportive family and friends. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. I want to give my sister Noemi Laczko a big shoutout for being by my side all these year.
