Hi Tippy, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued an artistic career because creativity has always been my most natural form of communication. For me, music isn’t just sound. It’s storytelling, self-discovery, and emotional translation. I’ve always existed at the intersection of intellect and feeling, and art became the one space where I could merge those worlds without apology. I can channel my experiences, contradictions, and curiosities into music that’s both thought-provoking and deeply human. I love blending vulnerability with confidence, wit with melody, and raw emotion with sharp wordplay. Ultimately, I chose this path because it allows me to transform my own evolution into something others can see themselves in, and that connection is what drives everything I create. Also, it’s FUN and there’s nothing else I’d rather be doing.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is rooted in storytelling. I’m proud of my lyricism, cadences, and ability to blend rap, pop, and R&B into something both cinematic and deeply personal. What sets me apart is balance — I can deliver clever, hard-hitting bars and still shift into something vulnerable and melodic without losing authenticity. Every song I write turns my lived experiences into art that empowers others to find their own voice.

The journey hasn’t been easy. Before music, I worked in political campaigns and took detours that pulled me from my creative path. I’ve faced housing insecurity, assault, and the aftermath of parental narcissistic abuse. Rebuilding my sense of self took years, but becoming a full-time content creator gave me the stability and clarity to return to music with focus and purpose.

I’ve learned resilience, gratitude, and the power of strategy — that intuition matters as much as discipline, and that progress doesn’t require perfection, only persistence. What I want the world to know is that my brand is real: empowering, defiant, and rooted in self-love. Rap allows me to be bold and unapologetic — to stand firm against anyone who tries to define me. Tippy Morgan isn’t just about music; it’s about transformation, courage, and proving that no matter where you start, you can rewrite your story with purpose and power.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to Vegas, I’d start with the Vegas classics — the Strip, a Cirque du Soleil show, and The Sphere for a fully immersive experience. We’d hit Fremont Street for the chaos and the lights, then eat our way through the city because I’m a total foodie. I’d take her to both high-end restaurants and local gems off the Strip. And if I could convince her, we’d end the trip skydiving. It’s Vegas, so you might as well go big or go home.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely. I owe a lot of my evolution to the people who believed in me before the vision was fully visible — the ones who saw potential where I only saw chaos. My creative circle, my partner, and a few close friends have been my mirrors, my anchors, and sometimes my reality checks. I also have deep gratitude for every mentor and collaborator who reminded me that being “different” isn’t a weakness — it’s a superpower. On a bigger scale, I owe a shoutout to the women who’ve fought to express themselves unapologetically, because that energy made space for artists like me to exist. Every lyric, visual, and performance I create carries a little bit of their courage.
