Meet Todd Huber | Founder and Curator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Todd Huber and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Todd, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It happened by accident. I quit smoking in the late 1980’s and began collecting as a hobby. That turned into a business and 2025 is my 28th year operating a Skateboard Park and Skateboarding Museum.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Stay true. I started collecting and building the museum without even knowing i would eventually start a business. I did it because it was fun. People often tell me how lucky i am to have turned my hobby into a business abut it all just happened naturally. The key for me has been consistency. Just keep going and don’t stop.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I like breweries so Id probably take them on a little tour of my local breweries. Instuition Ale in Camarillo, Energren in Moorpark and 8 one 8 are my favorites. Then I would take them for a long bike ride from Santa Monica to Redondo Beach because I also enjoy people watching and exercising and that covers both. I also like going to flea markets and swap meets like the Classic Car swap in Pomona or the monthly Rose Bowl Swap.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
All the Skateboarders of the world. All generations from Skaters now in their 70’s to young rippers.
