We had the good fortune of connecting with Tofan Pirani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tofan, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Changing my entire mindset

We are our habits .
What ever we think we do and what ever we do we just keep doing it .

I had to break that monster and change my entire thinking and start making new habits that could improve me as a person and character.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My journey started when I was around 10 years old , I fall in love with martial arts and acrobatic stunts.

I studied Drama and acting in high school and wanted to become an actor in early age.

By the time as 17 I was already national and European champion in kickboxing.

I always wanted to become an actor so I decided to go to hongkong and try my luck in martial arts movies.

I send so many letters and video tapes to Jackie Chang’s company ( Jackie & Willie ) production so they actually got tired of me and decided to give me audition.

After a successful audition I’ve got a small part in the movie WHO AM I with Jackie Chan.

I had to go back to Sweden where I lived and the movie was shooting 6 months later.

When I got back to Sweden my coach had a serious talk with me and basically told me I had to decide, acting or go pro as a fighters.

I had many great opportunities in fighting in front me and I had chance to qualify for the biggest events in Japan called K-1 .

As a teenager and full of testosterone I listen to my coach and decided to become pro and with that I had a lost my chance to be in Jackie Chan movie.

Don’t get me wrong I was very successful in my fighting career.
I fough in some of the biggest organisations around the work vs some of the legends in the sport and won many titles.

But been an actor have always been back of my head.

2019 I decided to move to Thailand
I use to travel to Thailand several times per year for training so Thailand was basically my second home.

When Covid started I decided to pick up my acting again .

Since 2021 I’ve been in several big TV series in Thailand , several big international movies as a character and stunt world wide.

Im still working on some upcoming project and one of my own as well for Netflix.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I travelled over 70 counties world wide for fighting and training over my fighting career. You

But Thailand have always been my favourite place only because here I can just be my self and don’t worry about what other people think or say.

I would show them some my favourite county side places with beautiful nature and local people so they can experience the real Thailand . Not just tourist attractions.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To be honest I think there are many people that deserve a shoutout.

Unfortunately I’ve been stabbed in the back so many times in this industry by my own circle that I’m just trying to make it by my self and work on my self.

I would love to give my shoutout to Ron Smoorenburg but I think you guys already in making.

He’s the only person that I can say i trust in my circle.
