We had the good fortune of connecting with Tomas Slemenson, Zach Jones, Conrado Pesinato and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tomas Slemenson, Zach Jones, Conrado Pesinato, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe a common mistake people make when they follow their passion is to put all their eggs in one basket. They are doing one thing and then they stop doing what they are doing to do another thing. If you want to follow your passion is usually a good idea to balance your risks, and set up your life in a way that you have the time you need to invest in your career but also, make sure you are not putting an unrealistic deadline on your success, or destroying another aspect of your life. You need to do the best you can to be in a comfortable situation, to not turn your passion into pure stress.

Also, planning and researching, Always keeping your eyes to see what’s happening in your field. What’s working and what’s not working, You want to make sure you are on the uptrend, and if that’s not the case, you need to be aware you are on the downtrend.

I believe one of the things really help my career was to manage the intensity of my investments, Knowing when my career needed to be the priory and when I shouldn’t make it the priory. And adapt my life around it without bringing my career to a complete stop. Always keep the ball rolling.

I think people have the tendency of throwing their whole life into the ventilator everytime things are not going the way they want, That’s a mistake.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Out of the Woods is a modern alternative rock band based out of Los Angeles. They’re new to the scene, but they bring calm confidence to the business of writing huge songs and shaking the foundations of Hollywood’s most storied music venues. Tomas Slemenson plays drums and is a former Virgin Records recording artist who has shared the stage with the likes of 21 Pilots and Drake. Conrado Pesinado plays guitar. He’s already a young veteran of the stage and studio and has worked with a diverse list of renowned artists such as Zayn Malik and Graham Bonnet. When they discovered vocalist Zach Jones, they knew the lineup was complete. As a frontman, Jones brings a truly signature vocal style and piercing lyricism which is sure to help the band forge its own path in the music industry.

OOTW, as the group is often known, brings a larger and more dynamic presence to the stage than their compact lineup would suggest. Zach Jones cuts an enigmatic figure offstage quiet only to step on stage and engage the audience in an electric tour de force. Tomas exudes showmanship and precision while playing gigantic beats and seamlessly incorporating drum machines and sequencers to fill out the band’s modern sound. Conrado is a force of nature on guitar, equally comfortable playing deep, anthemic riffs or teasing out haunting, highly technical leads.

Their new single “Strangers” is available on all streaming platforms starting today!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would eat, drink, hang out in the studio for a week writing and producing songs. Doing what we love.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Everyone that gives honest feedback helps you improve, There’s nothing worst than ghosting someone or lying to avoid hurting someone’s feelings. Everyone with knowledge that invests time into passing that knowledge to the people that ask for help.
Everyone that lets you know when you have a positive impact.
There are just too many people and they are equally important.
