Meet Tyler Hales | Smile makeover and veneer specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Hales and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyler, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always had a passion for reimagining the way things are done, especially in the field of cosmetic dentistry. I wanted to create a unique approach that reflected my vision and my brand, offering patients a new perspective on what’s possible. The idea of building something from the ground up excites me—whether it’s refining processes, developing innovative marketing strategies, or growing a business steadily over time. I love exploring new possibilities and seeing how far I can take them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I saw there were a lot of limitations when it came to cosmetic dentistry and the big labs I was using. I decided to make a change and found my own ceramist that had the same skill set and attention to detail that I did. We created a new product called “Harmony Veneers.” They are natural in every way. We studied natural teeth and talked about all the limitations of cosmetic dentistry and how we could change it for the better. It took a lot of time and understanding.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting for a week and I wanted to show them the best time, here’s what I’d plan. First, we’d hit up one of the iconic beaches in South Orange County for some surfing, adjusting to their skill level and the surf conditions that day. Afterward, we’d swing by Scott’s Donuts to grab some of the best donuts in the area.

Next, I’d take them to Newport Beach to skate along the boardwalk and grab lunch at Sancho’s Tacos, enjoying it right on the beach. After that, we’d head over to Downtown Disney for some shopping and maybe catch a live performance or just soak in the lively atmosphere.

To wrap up the day, we’d rent e-bikes and cruise down to the beach to watch the sunset. Then, we’d finish the evening with a great dinner at South of Nick’s for some great food and drinks. That’s a perfect mix of adventure, good eats, and fun memories!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely, I’d love to give a shoutout to my dad. He has been an incredible source of support and inspiration throughout my journey. He’s always led by example, showing me the value of hard work and perseverance, but never once pressured me into anything. Instead, he gave me the freedom to make my own decisions. Whenever I need advice or guidance, he’s there with a helping hand and words of wisdom. His own accomplishments inspire me, and it means the world to see how genuinely proud he is of my successes. My dad has always been a great example for me and has always supported me in my journey. He never pressured me into doing anything but always gave me freedom to make my own choices. He is always there when I need advice or help. He has accomplished so much in his life and he loves to see my own success.
