We had the good fortune of connecting with Victor Cuevas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victor, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In my early 20s I was working as an assistant manager at a restaurant, that’s when I realized cooking was a passion of mine. Sharing food, having people enjoy what you make for them in my opinion is the best way to learn about and connect with people. I wanted to share my food with as many people as possible. Starting my own Restaurant has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Every day I get to have customers come to my restaurant and enjoy themselves.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets RocknRoll Cafe apart from others is our quality of food, our menu variety, and our fun twist on the classic burger. Im most proud about our Wild West Burger, when you combined our 80/20 patty, onion ring, dont forget about the bacon, and our Rocknroll sauce. This combination will blow you away. It is a menu favorite. Also our Chicken Poblano Sandwich is a must try and menu favorite. Getting to where I am today was not easy, the key to my success was consistency, dedication, and passion. I truly love having the opportunity to share my food with everyone. The most recent challenge was when covid happened. Covid was a long few years but the support we got during that time from our community truly made the difference. RocknRoll cafe is stronger now because of it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely need to visit the Ronald Ragen Liberty, maybe see a movie at studio movie grill and for dinner come back to the RocknRoll Cafe

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shoutout to Jim! Jim and I combined our years of experience in food service to create the little Burger Joint you know and love today. We worked together and started here at RocknRoll Cafe. The time came when Jim offered me the opportunity to take over the Cafe and I did. Without Jim RocknRoll Cafe wouldn’t be here, He gave me the confidence and opportunity to live out my dream of sharing my food with as many people as possible.
