Meet Victor Migalchan | Show Runner, Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Victor Migalchan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victor, how do you think about risk?
First of all thank you for having me at this interview. Very good question. Risk is an inevitable thing in our lives. We as human beings start our lives with a risk of being born or no, being healthy or no. It goes on and on. Risks bring people motivation or anxiety. It is important how you deal with the risk. For instance, entrepreneurs are those who can take more risk and more stress.
For me risk is a type of a motivation, a source of energy. Indeed sometimes we face risks which aren’t necessary, such as dealing with people’s factor. Yes, trusting your partners and/or employees sometimes might be very risky. It is a blessing to have true partners who are true and devoted friends, it’s like a family.
Especially in Entertainment business risks are always high. I met many very talented creators and unfortunately fears of risking didn’t allow them to develop. In my case, when I develop an idea or a project, there is never a plan B. There is no way that I won’t accomplish it. It’s a state of mind perhaps. I never have such thoughts as “what if its not going to happen?” or “what if the projects fails and won’t get picked up by distributors”… and I’m blessed with true partners and friends such as Edward Cologna, from Cologna Productions, we developed many projects together already. We have great relations with the legendary MMA champion and partner Cung Le and his beautiful family. Now we partnered with Creative Industry Awards(CIA), held in the UK. Our new partner & CEO of the CIA is truly a great person!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets us apart from the others? Good question. Efficiency is one of the criteria I believe. We practice Hong Kong style, very efficient. I use mathematical model of script creation, which proved so far to be efficient. The most important I believe what sets us apart from the others is our values, strive for quality and perfection. Only team work, healthy environment and will power moves the business development forward, that is what I’m blessed to have together with partners. Of course nothing is easy, we face challenges every day, but how we deal with everything – that is what matters the most. We all overcome challenges thanks to the faith we have in our hearts, thanks to our confidence. It’s a mindset of a winner. We all want to remain known for good deeds, high values, strong personalities and making world truly a better place.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s a good question. Our team – love attending quality places and events. NAAB conference was a very interesting event to go, we love parks, visiting filming locations or other places which would give us inspiration. We love cooking so restaurants aren’t the most important place to visit, plus we prefer eating healthy. You know the saying “you are what you eat”, right?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Of course we always devote our work, strive for perfection and accomplishments to our most loved and closest ones: parents, families, significant others, friends, partners, the Father. I don’t feel like for me it is the time to talk loudly about any accomplishments now, in my case it is work in progress and every new day has to be better than the previous day in terms of work and work results. Of course when real accomplishments, such as winning an EMMY award and an Oscar come – it will be the time to celebrate. Now I must say that I feel grateful to Mr Edward Cologna for our partnership, devoted friendship and of course – to Mr Cung Le! I feel very good about our new partners from the UK and that together we will accomplish a lot and reach new levels. We already released season 1 of My American Family tv series, this year we are presenting the pilot of the show “Modern Kungfu” and “Spiritual Battles Worldwide”, season 1 of the cooking show “Dragon Chef”, Season 1 of the Educational Reality Show “Life Academy” and of the new talent show “OnAir”. We invest in the future, new talents and quality. It’s truly fantastic that we all are on the same page in terms of our beliefs and life values. Besides these projects for 2023 we have a new fashion tv show planned, together with a few very important documentaries and a feature film.
