We had the good fortune of connecting with Wendi Morrison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wendi, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?

I was born an artist and healer, like it or not….that is who I am.
The scariest thing for me to have faced about accepting that reality, was that the path is unknown.
I have always led an unconventional life, and boredom is my cue to pull up my boot straps, and create what I want to experience. Stagnation is a frustrating place to reside.
We live within an operating system that cues us on everything, including how we’re “suppose to do it”.
I believe that we are co-creators of reality, and as such, we must assume the role of expanded consciousness; we change the path, by going outside the box. Enrich your mind to expand your experience!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
There are artists, and there are muses; there are healers, and there are the healer’s healer. I’m the one who will jump into the unknown; creates trends, explores self expression, and trauma; evolves, inspires, ignites. I am the part of you that wishes to be free, and my mission is to inspire you to achieve that goal, not dream…but reality!
NOTE TO YOUNGER SELF: Nothing of value is ever easy!

The world around us is evolving fast; we are in the middle of a historic paradigm shift. To remain vital, we must stretch our skins to explore new realms of dimension that support the architecture we desire to create.

Example: As a healer, it was impossible for me to take my skill set into clinical alternative healing as it is not in alignment with my beliefs. Also, I am an animal communicator, and have been an animal advocate my entire life.
After a disabling accident, creating the animal sanctuary, and retreat for seekers from the cities to come, decompress and heal was the goal. The animals heal, and help our guests in their healing.
Our listing on the Hipcamp platform, was the perfect “light house” to really draw in our tribe. In turn, this generates the revenue for the non profit, along with donating my shamanic healing services, to the animals.
Everything multi-dimensionally, comes back to singularity!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I left L.A.(born and raised), for the village of Three Rivers, at the entrance to Sequoia National Park/King’s Canyon. Many people are not aware of the Crystal Cave in Sequoia Park, which is simply magical!

Another magical spot “outside the box” is the “Integratron” in Landers; if you’re headed to the Joshua Tree area.
Of course when I’m in L.A. or Huntington Beach, I LOVE “The Bungalow” vibe!
Also magical: The Magic Castle, Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theater, Griffith Park Observatory, The Self Realization Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades, and the Philosophical Research Society in Los Feliz.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In many ways, the people who “helped me” get here, are the people who created the most adversity for me, or who abandoned me in the midst of adversity. I am a spiritual warrior, so when I set out to do something, I will push that boulder up the mountain(says the mother of 6 goats).

First and foremost, I will always be eternally grateful to Brent Bolthouse(The Bungalow & Neon Carnival)whom I use to work for back in L.A., before I left for the Forest by the River here in Three Rivers. Brent has shown love and loyalty, far beyond what you traditionally see in Hollywood. Even at my lowest when I was broken and lost, he has held onto me; believing in me, and my mission. I 100% would not be where I am at this moment, were it not for Brent.

I believe success, whatever that means to you; is about risk….whatever THAT means to you…lol.
I would rather give something my all: heart & passion, than to live a path less travelled, and by that I mean “lest experienced”.
