Meet William ( Billy) Reynolds | Interventionist/ Motivational Speaker/ Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor ( ICADC) Certified Alcohol and Counselor CADCII

We had the good fortune of connecting with William ( Billy) Reynolds and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi William ( Billy), as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I have one daughter, Gracie, whom I raised as a single parent until she turned 12 years old. I have tried to teach her all the core values, but the most impactful has been gratitude. Gratitude reaches all aspects of life and shapes her attitude and perception regarding her relationships and in forming her identity in the world. I have watched her grow up and appreciate all the opportunities available; Her gratitude towards life and others has led her to be such a respectful young woman, with a willingness to be of service to others. She will turn 18 years old in December and I feel encouraged knowing that she has matured and is able to take on the next chapter of her life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Results oriented personable professional with 20 year’s experience in the recovery field. I take my profession very seriously. I believe my hard work and zeal in caring for others will take me far in this profession I truly love. I’ve learned the art of time management keeping a calm voice and spirit in stressful situations. I obtained my certification back in 2013 and presently hold (CADCII, ICADC) Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II and Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor certifications. I also have a job title as an Interventionist. I lost a brother to addiction, since then I have made a commitment to myself and the rest of my family to always do all I can to help others from having to experience the pain and suffering we have had to endure. There is no better feeling in the world than getting a family’s loved one safely into a treatment program. To see the effected person and family heal from the disease of alcoholism and/or drug addiction, is priceless.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love you to Santa Monica Just the diversity of the people there in the five is electrifying. I also like to go to Venice Beach. But not so much these days with the homeless however, it’s just a great days trip and every time a family member comes out TO visit from another state we go to Venice Beach and Santa Monica the two places we go. I can a lot of concerts at the Hollywood bowl and Love staying at the hotel Roosevelt. I love the history of that hotel, and of course the pool parties.. Hollywood Boulevard is always a must see in the stars and definitely driving through Beverly Hills. I love the Grove at Christmas time it’s one of the best decorate it areas of LA in Orange County that I’ve been to. Love to go to the restaurants on sunset great place for people watching and experience in the LA vive. The Beverly Center is a nice place to take family for a day shopping.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My AA sponsor and the fellowship of AA for over 20 years has laid the foundation for who I am as a man and how I handle myself in all my affairs. The principles of Service, Unity and Recovery have been the building blocks for all of my relationships, business ventures, and opportunities I have had to mentor others.
