We had the good fortune of connecting with William Bly and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi William, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process was, knowing that I’ll be doing what I’m passionate about, and what I love. I’m passionate about creating delicious meals that people would love.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I strive to be better, I probably think about my business more than anything, because I know that there is competition, even though I’m not a competitive person, I just know I have to keep up to stay in the race. I’m most proud, that I have a amazing team working with me, and we are like family. No!! I wasn’t easy getting here, I’ve had to sacrifice some important decisions to be here. But to birth something great you have to give up something ( distractions) to keep you focused.
The lessons i’ve learned along the way is, stay focused, never give up, always give something free, let people know that your business matters, always advertise to stay relevant.
I want the world to know, we strive to Bring Your Dreams To Reality. Dreams do come true.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well let’s see… It’s always Hollywood, everyone want to see the celebrity stars on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Hollywood Blvd. And visiting the Hollywood sign, Then it would be any of the beaches here in California, watching the planes fly over, going to the Beverly Center, Melrose, any of the few Outlets for shopping. As far a eating?! Wow!!!.. Lawrys, Maestros, Houstons, Javiers..etc. followed by going to the hookah bar and having a few drinks.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I can say that my tribe, has been a great encouragement to me through this journey. I always say that I’m grateful for the “little things”…and that, can be just someone asking how the business is going, or that they are extremely proud of me for sticking with it. For the businesses, churches, schools, referrals, city councilman, government establishments, friends and family that has kept me grounded in this process, has made me feel like I can really be successful. Where I am currently with my business, I would not have thought in a million years I would be where I am today. I’ve “rubbed elbows” with some of the best.
