We had the good fortune of connecting with Wolven and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wolven, how does your business help the community?
My business helps the punk community by showcasing different bands in the LA scene. With my media page I showcase new upcoming bands through my photography and interviews with those bands on my page to get the word out there.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
With my brand, I uplift and give small time musicians a chance to be known. With the scene I am associated with the most is the punk scene, and with my media page I’m slowly adding in metal as well. Even if they are already known on the scene, I still give them a chance so others and future generations can learn more about different types of bands in the making. More recently, I created my own series called “Underground”. With Underground, what I do is I interview bands to give them and their audience a connection to know who they are and what they are all about. I also give interviews to the people that show up to the scenes, the ones that join the mosh pits, and the ones who have a lot to say about the scene, whether it be a positive or negative opinion, as long as they voice their passions and concerns. It can be very personal with a few conversations, but it will help future generations so they can learn. With my work, I strictly only shoot in B&W because I feel like it tells more of a story than shooting in color. It just simply pops out more! 📸🖤🤍

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Honestly I’d take my best friend to a local punk show. I know for a fact they will have the best time of their life if they tag along with my friends and I.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m gonna have to say I would like to give a big shoutout to my friends and the one friend who introduced me to the punk LA scene named Serena. If she never told me and convinced me to give new things a try, I wouldn’t be where I’m at today. 🤝
