We had the good fortune of connecting with WyattTroy Christensen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi WyattTroy, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
“You can either make business-related decisions, or you can make artistic/creative decisions.

But you can’t make both. They are at constant war with each other.”

This is a fallacy of immense proportions. Business and Art are not opposites. They are not enemies. They are two

sides of the same coin. They are two sides of the same sword. They are best friends, life-long companions that

crave each other. The synergistic energy between them is amazing!!

Bussiness will never reach its full potential without the artistic side. And the artistic side will never reach its full

potential without the business side.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
DAW Nation is a company that is dedicated to helping artists learn how to become full-time music

producers… by learning from full-time music producers. We partner with artists that currently have a thriving music

career and create courses/masterclasses that show their exact strategies and techniques that they are currently

using to crush it in the industry. Sound Design, arrangement, songwriting, mixing, mastering, marketing.. you name

it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First off, we would go to Southern Utah. It is (subjectively speaking… but pretty much objectively speaking) the

most beautiful place on the planet. We would eat stupid amounts of Thai food (Benja Thai in St. George, Utah is

the best). What would we do though? We would have a mastermind. We would look at what we were in our lives

with a fine-tooth comb and figure out where the biggest bottlenecks are. We would then set goals to figure out

how to reach the next level of potential. There is no site to see, no place to eat, no activity to do, no person to meet

that will have a lasting impact like a mastermind. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to Russell Brunson, who is the most creative marketer of all time. Everything that I have learned that has

helped me grown my business so quickly is because of him. He owns a company called, “Clickfunnels” (which we

not only run all of our ads through but also run our entire website through!), and the “Funnel” idelogy has changed

my life forever. I have read his books 5-7 times each (There are 3 books in total).
