Meet Yenifer Razo | Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Yenifer Razo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yenifer, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
For me, Luna Design started as more than just a business idea it was a vision. I’ve always been drawn to spaces that tell a story, and I realized there was a gap between beautiful design and truly personalized living. I wanted to create a company that doesn’t just follow trends, but listens to the client, understands their lifestyle, and brings that vision to life with craftsmanship and intention. Starting my own business meant I could have the freedom to do things differently to blend creativity, function, and a touch of soul in every project. That’s the inspiration behind Luna.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Luna Design is all about creating spaces that feel as good as they look. We specialize in kitchens, baths, and custom storage, but what really sets us apart is how deeply we listen to our clients. Every project starts with their lifestyle, how they cook, gather, relax, and then we design with that in mind, combining beautiful aesthetics with practical function.
I’m most proud of the fact that we’ve built a reputation for our costumer service, and our personalize service. Getting here hasn’t been easy. Starting a business meant long hours, steep learning curves, and moments where I questioned everything. But each challenge taught me resilience and the importance of having the right people around you.
One big lesson I’ve learned is live with gratitude every single day, to appreciate health, to find joy in the small moments, and to trust that the kindness and energy you put out into the world will always find its way back to you.
Luna’s story, I hope it’s that design should feel personal, inspiring, and truly yours. Creating spaces that makes you feel something.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit, I’d want them to experience both adventure and the kind of calm you only get in your favorite places. We’d start with a few days at the beach there’s nothing like the ocean to reset your mind and make you feel alive. I love the idea of taking a little getaway too, even if it’s just a short trip somewhere beautiful, because being away from everything gives you space to really connect.
If I could take them anywhere in the world, it would be to the small towns of Italy wandering cobblestone streets, sipping espresso in the morning, and ending the day with pasta and wine in a tiny family-run restaurant. But honestly, some of my favorite moments aren’t about where you are, but who you’re with. Even just being in our room, sharing good company, is its own kind of perfect

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give my biggest thanks to my family, and especially to David. He’s the one who brought me into this world of design, supported me every step of the way, and patiently taught me everything I know about the industry. His belief in me gave me the confidence to step into spaces I never imagined, and his mentorship has been invaluable. I wouldn’t be where I am today without that guidance, love, and encouragement.
