We had the good fortune of connecting with Yichi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yichi, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
Always feel grateful. There are a lot of small things we could get started on, such as appreciate healthy or even a meal. I try to practice and appreciate what I already have in my life. This acknowledges my mindset that I could focus on the positive instead of the negative. When I felt thankful, it reminds me of the happy memories that make me happy. Gratitude brings happiness and this is what I experience
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It was not easy and encountered a lot of difficulties and challenges to become a Motion Designer. Especially I choose to study abroad, and it was a tough choice but I still feel satisfied and didn’t regrate about it. I experienced a lot, not only Motion Design but also other abilities, such as problem-solving, adaptability, and responsibility. Therefore, these taught me to become an independent and stronger person and also gave me different experiences and perspectives to write my stories. These definitely became assets to my career.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I want to take them to go hiking or the beach around LA. The best thing to Live in LA is that you can go nature easily, hikes, and beaches throughout the area. Just chill, relax, and immersive yourself into nature, and that’s the benefits of resting and unplug in a busy life. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In my life, I would like to thank a lot of people during different periods. For now, I would like to shoutout to my friends who supported me to get over the tough time. It happened a lot not only to the world but also to myself. I felt really down during that periods and was going to give up. They will give me suggestions and supports while I felt helpless. I appreciate that I could make it over. Shoutout to them and always believe in me. It empowered me to keep forward.
