Meet yuchen liu | beginner content creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with yuchen liu and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi yuchen, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
that most people would consider being a blogger to be a relatively easy and well-paying job. Although some bloggers have seized the opportunity and succeeded many years ago, both in the past and now, first you have to browse a lot of videos/news/trends to create every day. And in the beginning you spend time to do the outfit and photo shoot but no one may see it, which will also hit your vision. More importantly, talent is part of the industry, but luck and opportunity are also very important

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I don’t have a fixed career, I always do what I like and learn and grow further in my work. I love fashion so I went to study fashion marketing which is suitable for me. After I graduated I did some work in marketing. But now I’m continuing to study digital art because I want to learn a ”skill”. creator is kind of my side job now. Although I haven’t been successful, I’m still learning things that are relevant, and I’ll continue to develop around art in the future. I don’t have any advice because I’m also in the exploratory stage of my life and have no achievements. But do what you like must persist and learn hard and discover yourself

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my friend to Seattle, I think, which is the first American city I lived in. Experience Seattle’s rainy season without an umbrella. When you are done going to some of the popular attractions as well as museums. You can walk to the Glass Museum to see the glass artwork being made, and then go to the bar at the Space Needle for a drink. The Pike Place Market is not very busy at night but I personally enjoyed it, there are many aisles to explore and at the end of the day you can walk around the University of Washington and slow down to see the campus architecture and go to their library. I really like Seattle as a city, a week to go to the popular attractions, do not be in too much of a hurry to take your time to feel the charm of the city!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family, my family has given me a lot of love and freedom a lot of the time. My family is a traditional and serious family, their profession has nothing to do with art. But when I wanted to study fashion they followed my personal choice and supported me. By coincidence, I also entered the creator’s social circle
