We had the good fortune of connecting with Yuxi Liang and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yuxi, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Choosing to work in the arts and creative fields was a natural decision for me. I’ve always had a deep interest in beauty and forms of expression. Through photography and video production, I am able to capture and share the diversity and depth of the world. It’s not just a profession; it’s a way of life and a means of self-expression. My motivation behind founding Futuresightstudio was to inspire emotional resonance through our work, to convey beauty and strength, particularly showcasing the unique charm and power of women. In the world of art and creativity, I found endless possibilities and freedom, and this process of creation provides me with boundless energy and fulfillment.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We art revolves around capturing the beauty and depth of human experiences through photography and video production. What sets me apart is my focus on showcasing the unique stories and emotions of individuals, particularly highlighting the strength and beauty of women. I take pride in blending artistic expression with social commentary, as seen in our recent series “Invisible Butterflies,” which celebrates the elegance and resilience of women.

Reaching this point professionally has been a journey of perseverance and growth. It wasn’t always easy; building a brand and establishing a reputation in a competitive field required resilience and adaptability. Challenges were met with continuous learning and support from my team and mentors.

Our work seeks to highlight important issues and celebrate the diverse experiences of individuals, using our platform to make a difference.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d plan an unforgettable week. We’d start with breakfast at The Griddle Café and visit The Getty Center. Then, we’d relax at Santa Monica Beach, enjoy seafood at The Albright, explore Venice Beach, and dine at Bestia. We’d visit LACMA, shop at The Grove, stroll Hollywood Boulevard, and catch a show at The Hollywood Improv. We’d hike Runyon Canyon, unwind at Griffith Park, enjoy pizza at Pizzana, and take in the views from The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel’s Rooftop Bar. A day trip to Malibu would include lunch at Nobu Malibu. Back in LA, we’d dine at Republique, explore The Broad Museum, sample foods at Grand Central Market, watch the sunset at El Matador Beach, and savor a meal at n/naka. On the final day, we’d have brunch at République or Joan’s on Third, stroll through Los Angeles Arboretum, and finish with shopping at Palisades Village. This itinerary showcases the city’s diverse and vibrant character.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a heartfelt shoutout to my mentors, colleagues, and the incredible team at Futuresightstudio, whose support and creativity have been essential to our success. I’m also deeply grateful to my family and friends for their unwavering encouragement. Additionally, the inspiring books and resources that have shaped my approach and perspective deserve recognition. My achievements are a testament to the collective support and inspiration I’ve received from these remarkable individuals and influences.
