Meet Zenith Ander | Actor & Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Zenith Ander and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zenith, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Thanks so much for having me. A lot has changed in the last few years and i think work/life balance has been at the forefront for many. Last year I released my podcast, Journey to the Zenith on Spotify, which did really well. I recorded it from Sydney, Australia in the time that I had some family stuff going on. Keeping a creative spark lit while in the midst of a crisis is essential for the creative! For me, the podcast worked with my time and availability, and opened a bunch of doors to other creative things. I had some amazing guests on including Beki Thomas from the band The Mavis’s, and Australia’s Casting Agent & Audition Pro Maria who gave an amazing insight into the casting process for actors.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been in the film and entertainment business for many years. My work has been in front of and behind the camera in Hollywood & Sydney, Australia. My acting work has earned me 9 actress awards at the Hollywood Blvd Film Festival, Cannes Independent Film Awards and the Los Angeles Filmmakers Fest amongst others for my self-produced series “Roommates”, and I was a semi-finalist for my script “A Good Call” at the San Diego International Film Awards last year, and just this week was shortlisted for LA Under the Stars Festival. I have worked behind the scenes in Australia on Mad Max, Fury Road and with and for directors such as Russell Crowe and George Miller.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Los Angeles is still a mecca of good times. The Comedy Store on Sunset is one of the most amazing places to spend some bucks and spend hours being entertained. I have watched some of my favorite shows of all time at UCB after hours at the side-shows. One of my most iconic LA moments was watching a short play there with Will Sasso and Alex Borstein playing an alcoholic couple. The Hollywood Improv is also a great attend. There are places in LA that still exist outside of how normal-world functions and it’s a treat to be able to take advantage of that daily.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God and all the creative spirits on earth who show up to express and inspire!
