We had the good fortune of connecting with Zeus Views and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zeus, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think about risk in a very detached way. I try my best not to allow myself to attach to things I can’t control because it causes anxiety and can affect the outcome of what’s supposed to be. This is something I’ve had to study and grow into over time but I think I’m finally in a place where I look at risks as just another step towards what you know you want to achieve. Risks has played a major role in my life and career because if I wasn’t brave enough to take them, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’d like to think of myself as a very open minded creative. I never like to put limits on myself because because I’ve always felt limited by other growing up. I like to transfer this same thought process into my work as well so that the people who are viewing it can really get a feel or understanding of my very own emotions towards my perspective of freedom. I’m most proud of my ability to connect with different talents to tell a story. I’m most excited about my future and where exactly my different talents will take me. I’m open to a lot of different things and it’s very exhilarating to imagine myself in such different environments doing so many different things that I am good at. I started photography my junior year of High School and my hobby carried into college. I would shoot my friends at the time and when I started posting my work on social media, that’s when I started getting messages from people inquiring my photography rates. I then decided to full-on pursue my business career during my junior year of college and that’s where professional journey began. It was very challenging at first because of how demanding my new obligations were of my time. Trying to juggle school and entrepreneurship without all of the education of how to run / own a business wasn’t there easiest but with the support of my parents and their entrepreneurial backgrounds, I was able to find my way and sustain. I’ve learned that things will never be easy or just come to you without hard work. I had to learn this the hard way, several times which also taught me that I can’t give up as soon as things don’t happen in the way that I want them to. I worked very hard for my freedom and independence and I just want the world to be able to really see who I am and all the amazing things I have to offer through my energy and my art!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my bestfriend was visiting I would take them hiking in the morning, then to breakfast. Then we would find a mall or market area to shop for a bit, until we get hungry for lunch. After lunch, we will probably head back to my place and decide how we’re feeling and what else we’d feel like doing for the rest of the night. If they were staying for a week long, I would make sure I had an itinerary of activities such as outdoor / gym, stores / shopping, art / creative activities, clubs / nightlife, restaurants, etc… I love to check out different museums, mingle with friends and meet new people, take photos and just go on random adventures.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to God, my parents, and my very close friends who have always seen me and encouraged my dreams over the years. I was a very misunderstood child so I’d also like to shoutout to the couple of teachers who saw my potential and fought for me in moments where others were trying to make me suppress myself. Also, shoutout to myself for doing the hard work and staying dedicated to a dream and vision that only I could see!
