We had the good fortune of connecting with Zoya Eghikyan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zoya, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Before starting my business, I had one clear idea: to create a brand where quality, care, and aesthetics are inseparable. I always dreamed of creating something that would bring value to the community, and now I am on that path.
To achieve that dream, I founded Sirooni and Aesthetic by Zoya as clean, honest, and inspiring environments.
And I still have a lot of work to do.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Aesthetic by Zoya has become an entire philosophy today
Beauty should be not only external but also energetic. I pay great attention to hygiene, quality, and genuine human connection.
The brand I created ” Sirooni ” was born from that very belief. I wanted nail masters to work with truly high-quality, safe, and long-lasting materials. Today, Sirooni is used by many professionals across the U.S., and that’s one of my greatest sources of pride. There’s still a long road ahead…
Of course, the journey hasn’t been easy, and it will only get more challenging as I face new obstacles. A new country, new rules, new challenges. But I have never given up. Every mistake has become a lesson, and every trial – a new step toward growth.
My greatest lesson is “when you do your work with honesty and love, success always follows.”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
n the morning, I’d take them to my favorite café in Glendale – Coffee Commissary. It has such a warm atmosphere and unforgettable flavors. Then, of course, we’d stop by my salon, Aesthetic by Zoya, for a relaxing self-care session.
In the afternoon, we’d stroll through The Americana at Brand, surrounded by lights and music. In the evening, we’d visit Griffith Observatory to connect with the stars and take in the breathtaking view of Los Angeles resting in the palm of your hand.
The next day – Malibu: sunshine, the ocean, and finally, dinner at Catch LA or Nobu Malibu.
The magic of my city lies in its balance — between work, family, and relaxation. That’s exactly the kind of energy I try to reflect through my brand.”

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I never forget that my journey isn’t solely thanks to me.
First and foremost, my family — my husband and my children who are always by my side. I’m grateful to my friends who have constantly encouraged me and believed that I could achieve anything.
I’m also thankful to all my teachers and professionals I’ve learned from , each of them left a mark of knowledge and inspiration in my life.
And of course, my team, the girls who work every day with heart and a constant drive to improve.
