Other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?


Deciding to work for yourself is often cited as the best decision folks in our community have made. Hearing the same response over and over led us to ask them about the next best decision folks have made and we’ve shared their responses with you below.

The decision to have outrageous confidence in myself. Not in an egotistical sense, but being courageous enough to bet on myself even when others might not. When you decide to start your own business there are several unknowns so even when I hit roadblocks, I still had enough confidence in myself and my end goal to keep pushing onward. I grew up in a small town in rural Ohio with a population of about 8,000 people. I knew at a very young age that if I was going to grow and be successful, that I’d need to surround myself with likeminded people in new environments that would and could promote that growth. How I got here, though, isn’t exactly what I originally had in mind. I had a long distance relationship in High School with a girl from Las Vegas. One major contributor to my success in my opnion is learning to become comfortable with being uncomfortable, Being able to create opportunites by stepping out my comfort zone . An example for me specifically would be overcoming my anxiety to be present on social media platforms as they play a big part in marketing and networking. Read more>>
