The floral industry is notoriously bad for the environment. We’re trying to reduce that impact and choose more sustainable options. First, we don’t use any floral foam. That green stuff you see all the time in arrangements is actually made from plastic and ends up in the landfill breaking down into micro-plastics and releasing carcinogens into the air. We also wrap our flowers in compostable material instead of plastic. Another way we’re trying to help is by using locally grown flowers wherever possible – cutting down on the total amount of CO2 that is released into the atmosphere from your arrangement or event.
