Perspectives on work life balance

The Coronavirus has given many us an opportunity to pause and think about life, our purpose, and even the right work life balance. What’s your perspective and has it changed over time?

As long as I can remember, I’ve been a risk taker in ways that I believe will benefit my family and I or my vision. As a mother of 5 with a bachelor’s degree I didn’t want to be tied down to one source of income in corporate life. I wanted to be the one in charge of my own schedule and life. So I took the risk of letting go of all corporate career opportunities and took advantage of the opportunities that I have access to and have interests in. Read More>>

My work life balance has significantly changed over the years as a hot yoga teacher and musician. The biggest thing for me has been pacing and hydration. Most days, I teach 1-4 hot yoga classes, practice, then have some sort of gig or concert in the evening. Read More>>
