We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacey Wodin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stacey, are there risks you’ve taken that you are really happy about in retrospect?
A risk that I took was ending my 20 year career in the domestic field in order to start my own company.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My company, Stellar Lifestyle Management allows my clients to work with me in a flexible way to support their busy lifestyle without the commitment of a full-time member of staff. Think of it as a super-efficient way to get the support you need. Years of being a house manager has taught me how to act on and anticipate my client’s needs. If they want to get something done well, they come to me – something my previous clients will attest to. I understand the amount of personal time and effort that goes into being everyone’s go-to and because of that, I’m uniquely positioned to meet their needs. I’m obsessed with staying organized and finding ways to make life easier for my clients. I take pride and joy in finding ways to support the families I work with and building long term relationships with them to tackle their needs at every stage of their lives. Trust and dependability is an essential part of being a successful VA and why I’ve been highly sought after for years. Outside of work, I have a family who keeps me on my toes, and in running my own busy life I’ve learned how to be ultra-efficient which means I have a laser focus I can apply to my client’s needs too. My motivation is making space for everyone to enjoy those quality moments without having to sweat the small stuff allowing my client to focus on their zone of genius. I’m always excited to meet new people and see how I can help enhance their life whether it’s day-to-day support your need or special occasion planning.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area, and she had never been to Los Angeles before, I would probably take her around to all of the touristy areas so she can really experience the LA tourist spots. Santa Monica Pier, 3rd Street Promenade, Venice Beach, Hollywood Blvd, Shopping on Melrose, and of course Malibu. We’d probably take a hike to see the Hollywood sign, and have lunch at Yamishiro. We’d get all dressed up for dinner and go somewhere like Nobu, and then head up PCH to get some butter cake at Mastro’s Ocean Club.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out all of the strong women influences in my life who have supported me, pushed me to be a better version of myself, and lifted me up.
