That there is still room for innovation in ecommerce! Take color filtering for example. A conventional color filter makes you select a word representing a common color name such as green, yellow, blue, etc. But just because it’s been the same for 20 years doesn’t mean it’s the best possible solution. We rethought the experience by using a color wheel instead of listing names to surface products. By giving the user the ability to search for any specific color, we can surface more accurate matches in an intuitive way.
