The success for us is in the name. Slide Thru is a name that provides the action item of coming by, and through that action item, we are able to build community. Which, for us, was the most important thing we could provide to the emerging LA creative scene. A place where you can feel like you’re at home while being away from home with like-minded individuals. Being that we are both passionate about music, community, film, and creativity, we can leverage our passions to create an environment that channels that and brings people together who care about those things as well. The most important factor behind my success, is discipline, consistency, and the practice of being intentional. I began to incorporate these practices around the age of 19-20, when the pandemic hit.
